With a little bit of Grace.
Alright, so I have a little side project going on with a few of my friends, it’s a blog called “Les Dames“. Basically, we draw the classic beauties of cinema with some other historical women thrown in on top. First off is none other than the gorgeous Grace Kelly. Go check it out/follow! Note: The [...]

A Good Wife – Test.
This may be a little premature but here is a test composite of a scene from my film. Happy Holidays!

Influence Map
I’m a little late to the game but here is my influence map (for names click here). There isn’t really any specific order (aside from the top row being the big ones); the rest are just in random order. The problem with this is that I’m influenced by so many things, whether it’s art, photography, [...]
A Good Wife.
Concept art for my final year thesis. Just as a side note, I changed my domain name over to “blog.wscottforbes.com”; the old redirects to the new, but be sure to change any links that refer to the old. Thanks and enjoy the 101th post!

Just Brilliant.
Finally – third year is over! I made it through alive and with a finished film (thank you group members)! Now it is time to jump back to projects that fell by the wayside. First task is to finish the last remaining pages of Forgetless issue 5 and then hop on to a secret project [...]

Forgetless #3 Preview.
Alright, since I saw a preview of Forgetless issue #3 online – I guess it’s safe to post these up. This issue looks incredible (I think) and the story is the best yet. If you are interested in the book, go to your local comic shop and pick it up/order it in. Thanks!

Let’s call it something else…
Some friends and I have a blog that we try to update as much as possible; but with looming deadlines, it’s not always feasible. The idea is to be inspired from a random book quote and illustrate what comes to mind first; then the artist uses there camera to grab a macro shot to what [...]

Orange.
A warmup painting of sorts for a project I am working on. The painting technique was inspired from a painting James Jean did; I tried to give it my own twist, but I don’t think that was successful. One day I hope to finish it traditionally, but for now, the acrylic/digital hybrid will do, enjoy!
Forgetless Cover #5.
Busy busy times. The final cover to Forgetless, featuring Sara and the guy in a koala suit. Traditionally painted with some digital enhancements. The original painting is 16″ x 24″ or something along those lines. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, it being my first time working with acrylic washes over a gloss [...]

Expendable.
Meet Matilda, Johnny, Harley and Audrey; the main characters for “Expendable”. I don’t have much to say right now but you will be seeing more of them in the near future. I hope you enjoy!
