Here is a cover I recently finished for Jeremy Holt‘s comic pitch with Vic Malhotra titled ‘Lucid’. It’s not my usual subject matter but it was a nice challenge to create an image that was darker in tone. I’ve attached the preliminary sketch below just for fun, even though not much changed from rough to the final. As always, enjoy!

I planned on doing a proper illustration with this idea but I shelved it in my sketch folder up until now. Anyways, it’s based around one of my favourite scenes of 2010 from Xavier Dolan’s film “Les Amours Imaginaires”/”Heartbeats”; check it out below. (Thank you Dylan for reminding me about this).
As promised, here is the cover to 27 Second Set: #1 – an homage to Vanilla Ice’s Single Cover “Ice Ice Baby”. I painted this rather quickly but I’m pleased with the results. Anyways, go out and get your LCS to order the book in. Enjoy!
